How to Use - Roller
- Start with a clean face and neck, then prep your skin with a moisturizer, oil or serum. You can add additional layers of product if you wish to do so; the massage will help push them further into your skin.
- Using the Roller, start with your neck first to clear the lymph passageways before starting on your face. Roll from your collarbone and work upwards towards your chin. Use a light hand; the weight of the roller will do the rest.
- Move to your chin and jawline, moving towards your ears. Aim to use using sweeping strokes that go toward the outer edges of your face.
- Then, work your way from the middle of your face and roll outwards across your cheeks. You can also use the smaller attachment under your eyes, very gently, in a horizontal motion towards your temple.
- After that, roll upwards across your forehead to your hairline and in between your brows.
Tip: You can always mix it up and do this in any order you like!
How to Use - Gua Sha
- Using the Gua Sha, begin scraping it in an upwards motion from your clavicle to your jaw. By ‘scraping’ with repeated strokes on the surface of the skin, the Gua Sha helps stimulate new blood flow and draw out stagnation in the problem areas to help generate metabolic cell repair and healing. It also helps relieve tension in the face, neck and jaw.
- Then, glide the Gua Sha from the centre of your chin, across your jawline and bring it down to your collarbone, using the side with two curves.
- Move to the centre of your face and scrape it gently from your cheek to your hairline, working your way down the side of your face. End by working the Gua Sha from the middle of your chin along the jawline until you touch the bottom of your ear.
- On your forehead, drag it in an upwards motion from the eyebrows to the hairline. By dragging it along your face in broad even strokes, you’ll see a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and notice a temporarily more firm complexion.
- Apply extremely light pressure for the under-eye area and gently glide from the inner corner of the eye to the temple. You can also apply extra eye cream so there is no pulling.
Tip: Don’t forget to clean your new tools, they're touching your face everyday! Clean thoroughly with warm, soapy water using a soft cloth or towel.
